This beta is not notarized by Apple. macOS may ask you to approve it in Settings.
Move Flowlist to Applications.
Open the downloaded ZIP, then drag Flowlist into your Applications folder.
Approve the beta.
Try opening Flowlist. If macOS blocks it, open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, then confirm. This approves this app; leave your other security settings enabled.
Apple’s instructions ↗Make it yours.
Continue as a guest or sign in. A short Guide shows the essentials, then helps you set up the menu-bar timer.
A few things to know.
What’s included in this download?
The main workspace, local Pomodoro timer, menu-bar controls, themes, projects, and focus history. The desktop widget is still being tested and is not included in this download. iPhone and iPad apps are not available yet.
Do I need an account?
No. Guest tasks and sessions stay on this Mac. An account adds background sync. Guest work and account workspaces stay separate; signing in does not silently upload your guest work.
Where does my data go?
Guest work stays in local app storage. With an account, saved tasks and sessions sync to Flowlist’s server; Supabase handles authentication. Sign-in credentials stay in the Mac Keychain. Export your work from History. Account deletion is available in the web workspace. Provider backups may retain deleted records for their retention period. The beta does not use advertising trackers or AI enrichment.
How do updates work?
For now, download the latest beta from this page, quit Flowlist, and replace the app in Applications. Your local workspace is stored separately from the app. Automatic updates are not included yet.
How can I report a problem?
Use the project’s issue tracker. Include your macOS version and what you expected to happen. Avoid posting private task names, email addresses, or account credentials.
